Our choice of site for the World championships in Sweden was an easy and natural choice, the hometown of Mounted Games since 1986, Göteborg. Göteborg is the perfect town for such an event. Situated on the West Coast of Sweden and easy accessible by air or sea with Göteborg also being the foremost event city in Sweden. The competition will be held in Göteborg Horse Park, situated only 10 minutes from the city and right in the middle of the most horse populated area in Sweden. Göteborg Horse Park is an alliance between different equestrian sports. Göteborg Horse park has a racecourse, a Mounted Games arena, an Icelandic horse arena and a cross country course. Following directly after the Worlds in Göteborg there will be the European Championships in Athletics.

Our aims of World Championships in 2006 are to;
Promote and encourage friendship between young people from all over the world.
Promote and increase the interest for Mounted Games nationally and
internationally.
Promote Göteborg and Sweden as a fun and friendly place to visit and enjoy.
